A mí me hace pensar en la ola de liberación que culminó en 1960 con tantas descolonizaciones en África y el resto de los países sometidos a Inglaterra, Francia, Bélgica, Italia… y siguieron siéndolo, con el apoyo de los «presidentes» electos a 99%…
Pero la buena noticia es que la huelga se ha vuelto general a todo el país de Egipto, y ¡cada día van entrando más sectores profesionales en huelga! 20 a 30 huelgas nuevas cada día, explica este reportaje extenso del 18 de febrero de Democracy Now! (me encanta definitivamente el nombre de este programa).
Atrás de esta revolución y derrocamiento de la tiranía aunque se eche en falta un partido obrero estrcturante, pues sí que hay un movimiento social muy constituido desde diez años con sindicatos activos, como en el téxtil con mayoría de mujeres, que contaba la semana pasada.
Esto lo explica bien Mona El-Ghobashy en el imprescindible programa diario de noticias Democracy Now! Da más detalles que la primera contextualización que había presentado la semana pasada, del californiano Paul Amar.
Luego vuelvo a un clásico de la teoría queer, que me pasó una amiga bien posicionada, y que desconocía en absoluto: El pensamiento heterosexual, originalmente The Straight Mind (1980). De la poeta y activista lesbiana, francesa exiliada en Estados Unidos donde enseñó literatura y teoría de género: Monique Wittig. Lo leo traducido por Javier Sáez y Paco Vidarte y publicado en la editorial Egartes en 2006. Os dejo aquí otra traducción interesante en el blog Zapatos Rojos, que resume bien su pensamiento.
